Jerel Armstrong was born in the Bronx and started performing in community theater and school productions at the age of 11. Some of his credits include Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors at the College of New Rochelle, The roles of Oberon and Theseus in A MidSummer Night's Dream at (NYU), and the Title role in Othello at Pace University, He recieved his BA from Pace Universitywhere he majored in theater with a concentration in music. He continued his education at New York University where he recieved a Masters in Educational theater and English. He is a writer, a performer, script translator, composer, pronunciation coach and the President of The World Voice Ensemble Inc.
